Bus tour in Philadelphia at ASA– Sunday, August 12th 4:30-7:30pm

Dear Colleagues,

My colleague Sheena Sood and I have organized an independently curated bus tour to accompany our regional spotlight session at this year’s ASA conference in Philadelphia.

This bus tour is in conjunction with and proceeds our regional spotlight session entitled “Feeling Race and Resistance in Philly: The Role of Arts, Culture, and Healing in Social Movements for Transformation.” It focuses on Black Radical History with stops at historical sites of militarized repression, resistance, and healing in Philly and is led by Michael Africa, Jr, a life long member of the MOVE organization. The tour will be on Sunday, August 12th from 4:30-7:30.

Purchase tickets through eventbrite before they sell out. The proceeds of this event will exclusively be donated to the MOVE family.
