Michelle T. Lee is a Ph.D. candidate in Sociology at Northwestern University. Her research focuses on digital labor markets, forced displacement, and emerging digital technologies like AI, using global multi-sited ethnography in the UK and East Africa.
Jessica Urzúa is a Ph.D. student in Sociology and Social Policy at Harvard University. She is interested in studying how power and social structure in labor markets affect economic inequality, and how social policies may exacerbate or mitigate this inequality.
