The Department of Sociology at Indiana University, Bloomington invites applications for an open-rank, tenured or tenure-track position beginning in Fall 2027. The department seeks a scholar with expertise in the sociology of organizations, interpreted broadly, who is committed to excellence in scholarship and teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels. The department is especially interested in candidates who use innovative methods in their research and can contribute to teaching in the undergraduate Management + Human Organization major, as well as to substantive and methods training in the graduate program. A Ph.D. is required at the time of appointment.
