Jennifer Krebsbach, a graduate student at the University of California, Davis, is conducting a study on how restrictive, external government-led policies are shaping the individual decisions made about teaching and research for early-career sociologists–and how university administrators are working to support their faculty. She is seeking two groups of participants for her study: assistant professors of sociology and administrators within colleges that house sociology programs–must be working at R1 institutions. Participation involves a 10-20 minute survey. Assistant professors have the additional option of being interviewed at a regional sociological conference in the upcoming year.
