Research in the Sociology of Work invites submissions for inclusion in a section of RSW devoted to “Race and Ethnicity at Work.” Submissions may address any topic on this theme, including but not limited to the following:
- Changing patterns of racial and ethnic segregation
- Racial discrimination in labor markets, organizations, or workplaces
- The intersection of race, gender and class within work organizations and/or occupations
- Racial wage gaps
- The meaning and consequences of diversity management
- Impact of race on aesthetic labor
- Racial patterns in contingent, low wage, or other forms of insecure work
- Race in professional/managerial jobs
- Race, ethnicity and social network ties
- Critical race theory and racial privilege at work
- Race and emotions in the workplace
- Race-typing and the labor market
