The Department of Sociology at the University of California-Santa Barbara invites applications for a tenure-track position in the sociology of gender and sexualities at the rank of Assistant Professor. The ideal candidate will have an active research agenda and a strong commitment to quality teaching. Candidates should also have a PhD in Sociology. Scholars utilizing all methodological approaches are welcome to apply. The Department is particularly interested in candidates who can contribute to the diversity and excellence of the academic community through research, teaching, and service.
