We cordially invite Ph.D. students and postdoctoral scholars in all disciplines to apply for our 4th Seminar in Social Entrepreneurship and Philanthropy (SEPHI). The seminar will take place on emlyon’s city campus in Paris from May 25–26, 2023.
As stated in the call, we are looking forward to two days of lively debate about private initiatives seeking to tackle social and environmental problems.
We are delighted to announce Elisabeth Clemens (UChicago) and Ignasi Martí (esade) as our keynote speakers. The seminar is organized by
Christof Brandtner, Nevena Radoynovska (emlyon), Arthur Gautier (ESSEC), Frédéric Dufays, Virginie Xhauflair (HEC Liège), and Benjamin Huybrechts (IESEG). To apply, please send a 2-page extended abstract of a research project and a current CV to brandtner@em-lyon.com by February 1. Course credit for PhD students is available. Participants will range in seniority from graduate students still defining their dissertation work to postdoctoral scholars wrapping up theirs.
