Job announcement: Northwestern sociology, assistant prof, non-tenure track

NORTHWESTERN UNIVERSITY’S Department of Sociology invites applications for a full-time, benefits-eligible, non-tenure eligible faculty appointment as Assistant Professor of Instruction, beginning September 1, 2015.  Duties include teaching six quarter-long undergraduate courses per academic year, at least three of which will also serve the Kapnick Business Institutions Program in Weinberg College.  We welcome candidates with research and teaching interests in the Sociology of Organizations.  Minimum qualifications include a Ph.D. in Sociology, which must be conferred by September 1, 2015.  Preference will be given to candidates who have demonstrated experience working with diverse student communities.
